Artists’ Quality Watercolors

Artists’ Watercolor

Originally introduced in the early 1920s and now available in 108 highly concentrated colors, Holbein Artist Watercolor is a transparent watercolor that preserves the brush-handling qualities inherent in Japanese watercolor techniques.

Holbein Artist Watercolor is available in two formats, in tubes (5ml & 15ml), and is specifically designed to rewet instantly and not deteriorate in the tube, pan, or palette.

Artists’ Granulating Watercolor

Holbein proudly presents a stunning assortment of 24 Artists’ Granulating Watercolors. Inspired by the Japanese aesthetic concept of Kachofugetsu, referring to flowers, birds, wind (landscape), and the moon, this collection embodies the inherent beauty of nature and the understanding of oneself through experiences in the natural world, captured in vibrant, beautiful hues.

Artists’ Iridescent Watercolor

Holbein proudly introduced CHROMASHINE® and Chroma Pearl, an Iridescent line of transparent watercolors that change color depending on the angle of view!

Artists’ Luminous Watercolor

Holbein’s transparent watercolors are now available in the vivid and playful “Luminous Color (fluorescent color). This lineup includes fluorescent colors, which are rare among watercolors, and fluorescent blue, which is even rarer among fluorescent colors. The addition of 12 Luminous Colors with high brightness and saturation further expands the range of expression in watercolor.

Artists’ Nightfall Watercolor

Nightfall Colors are an innovative series of Holbein Watercolor that captures the serene beauty of twilight. Directly from the tube, these colors appear subdued and dark. However, once dissolved and spread with water, they reveal subtle color separations, akin to the captivating effects of granulating colors. Each shade is developed with a natural saturation, making them incredibly versatile. Use them as primary hues to define your work, or for rich shadows and accents.

Half Pan Watercolor

Available in 48 colors, Holbein Artist Pan Watercolor offers the highest pigment concentration possible while providing great re-wetability.
